A few years ago, back in 2009, there started a dream to change things around us for the better. At that time we presented our first women’s motorcycle glove which design focused on a better fitting achieved by taking into account the anatomy of a woman’s hand. This was met with a great response from our customers and it convinced us that our work is truly valued as more and more people began to choose SHIMA brand to comfortably and safely pursue their motorcycling passion. Our motto of the time, Go Beyond, was especially telling of ourselves.
Having seen satisfied users of our gloves, we wanted to create products that would be even more protective, more ergonomic and designed with utter devotion to the craft. We longed for exceeding our limits while gaining new knowledge and experience.Today, our belief in what we do is even stronger. We know that our products accompany bikers during great expeditions into the farthest corners of the world or while winning trophies at racetracks as well as on the everyday way to work. That is why we carefully refine every detail of the design, to make sure that our products will feel like a second skin to every motorcyclist. Embark with us on a journey into the world of passion.

SHIMA is dedicated to constant development of protection technologies and techniques to help the rider prevent him from injuries. We offer outstanding impact protection, comfort and durability. In our products we use premium materials, CE certified protectors and numerous safety features. We are also in the process of certifying our garments which are submitted to a EU type examination assessment in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425. We do over 50 tests per garment to ensure that the rider is well protected.
